Law Working Group

21-22 November

The EEB’s Law Working Group meeting will meet in Brussels and online on 21-22 November. The meeting will start on Monday 21 at 12:30 with a lunch and will continue on Tuesday 22 for the whole day.

The discussion will be focused on the EU Commission’s REPowerEU and national trends related to permitting procedures, access to justice and climate, and a debate on the concept of Ecocide as a recognized environmental crime in the European and International contexts. Another topic that will have a special focus is the Aarhus Convention Rapid Response Mechanism, on which an information session will be provided. The meeting will also feature a communications workshop for lawyers, to present and discuss the best tools and methods for effective communication of legal topics.
