Join us on 19–20 May 2026 for the Law Working Group Meeting at the EEB office and online—two dynamic days where we will discuss hot topics shaping the future of environmental law in Europe. We will give you insights into the EEB’s 2026 Work Programme and Long-Term Strategy and dig into deregulation, omnibus proposals, and the evolving landscape of private enforcement. We will zoom in on one or two cases, public participation obligations in permitting and climate planning, and we will learn about UN special procedures from the OHCHR Brussels office. We will round off the 1.5 days with insights into narratives and trends in protection of environmental defenders.
