Addressing the Staggering Costs of PFAS Pollution
- Registration deadline: 17 September
- When: 23 September 2025, 16:00 – 20:00 CET

Pollution by per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) is a major threat to public health, the environment and the economy. Widespread contamination of goods, water, soil and food sources has led to increased costs for waste and water management, soil remediation, healthcare and litigation.
Organized jointly by the French Permanent Representation to the EU, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) and Hazardous Waste Europe (HWE), this event will bring together experts, stakeholders and institutions to address the most pressing environmental and technical concerns about PFAS and their costs.
Join us for two stimulating and inspiring panel sessions on the following topics:
1) The costs of PFAS pollution
2) Solutions to urgently tackle the costs of PFAS pollution
The programme includes the participation of experts, scientists, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the permanent representation of France to the European Union.
