Identification and classification of hazardous chemicals in the EU_ Part 2 – 8 June – Online
Identification and classification of hazardous chemicals in the EU_ Part 2
8 June, 14:00-15:45, Online
Over the years, the European Union has developed a wide range of databases providing information on the hazardous properties of industrial chemicals, biocides and pesticides. This information is useful when assessing the risks chemicals pose to our health and the environment. However, this information may be difficult to find and understand, and includes gaps and shortcomings that users should be aware of.
During this webinar we provide an overview of this EU resource and discuss how the LMIC could benefit from using it. We take a close look at the main databases, learn about the information they provide, about who has generated this information and highlight their gaps and shortcomings.
