On 24th-26th March 2025, and following the unveiling of the European Commission’s Clean Industrial Deal, the EEB will host a joint Working Group Meeting of the Zero Pollution Industry and Climate and Energy Working Groups. Over three days, the meeting will bring together our members to explore the intersection of energy & climate policy and industrial transformation as it relates to our work. 

The first day will focus on two of the Climate and Energy WG’s priorities, carbon pricing and renewables policy. The second day focuses on how the clean industrial deal affects key climate and energy policy – including nuclear energy and the renewables industry as well as provide an introduction to the role of Best Available Technology Reference documents (BREFs). The third day will focus on the Industry WG’s priorities.
