Joint letter on substances of concern in ESPR

A coalition of NGOs sent a letter to the members of the Environment Committee of the European Parliament, urging them to support a ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products) framework that would be in line with the promises of the Green Deal and the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability. Among others, this means making sure that the definition of substance of concern remains inclusive as written in the proposal, or ensuring the availability of information on chemical content and safe use by introducing information requirements.
