Rina is Senior Policy Officer (External) for Chemicals. She graduated in Biology at the Padova University and worked several years at Legambiente, focusing on air pollution and pesticide residues and their impact on human health. To make her action more effective she engaged in doctoral research at the Paris VII University, where she obtained a PhD in Toxicology.
Before joining EEB she has been working at Pesticide Action Network UK focusing on pesticide exposure of vulnerable groups in countries with an economy in transition.
She’s Italian and speaks French, English and Spanish.
