“Magdalena (Lena) leads the EEB membership work and partnership relations. This includes membership development, coordinating Programme and Strategy development, monitoring and evaluation, and overseeing the organisation of the EEB Council and Board meetings.
Prior to joining EEB, Lena served as the Membership and Governance Coordinator at the European Women’s Lobby (EWL), managing operations of the governing bodies and overseeing the membership development. Before that, she contributed to Youth Rights advocacy as a Policy Officer at the European Youth Forum (YFJ), concurrently serving as the Co-executive Manager of the European Alliance for Volunteering. Lena gained experience within the UN Information Service and the OSCE Press and Public Information Service. Furthermore, she served as a Research Officer for various European and transnational projects across multiple universities. She has also been active as independent work psychologist and active in the power generation sector.
Her educational background includes an Advanced Interdisciplinary Master’s in Risk Management and Well-being at Work (ULB), a Master in Political Science (University of Vienna), and a Diploma in Human Rights (UC Berkeley).
Lena is originally from Vienna, Austria, and her mother tongue is German. Additionally, she is fluent in English and French, and beginner in Dutch.”
