Emilie works in the Economic Transition team doing advocacy and communications for REAL, a European Research Council funded project on post-growth transformations across universities in Barcelona (UAB) and Lausanne (Unil). She is a trained ecological economist with Masters degrees from the University of Surrey and the University of Leeds and has a background in climate and economic transition campaigning.
Prior to joining EEB, she worked several years on a campaign to end big polluters’ corporate propaganda and on a grassroot climate action project in Leeds advocating for Community Wealth Building policies. Originally from Switzerland, she speaks English, French and some Italian.
