Emilie works in the Economic Transition team.

She is an ecological & heterodox economist with a background in climate and economic transition campaigning. She has Masters’ degrees from the University of Leeds and the University of Surrey.

Prior to joining EEB, she worked with the New Weather Institute on a campaign to end big polluters’ corporate propaganda and still works as a freelancer for Climate Action Leeds advocating for city-level economic transition policies.

Emilie has a strong interest in issues of class, justice and power in the economy and is enthusiastic about the potential of forming alliances with actors in the trade union and wider labour movement. Originally from Switzerland, she speaks English, French and moderate Italian.
