Daniel works in the agriculture and food team supporting work on the common agricultural policy and food systems.
Daniel holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Exeter and worked in the tech sector for a few years following his graduation including as a data engineer in a start-up dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of the trucking sector.
He recently completed an MSc in Environmental Resource Management and Policy at Imperial College London to work in environmental policy. His thesis explored the nexus between intensive agriculture and reservoir replenishment in olive groves in AndalucÃa.
Daniel grew up in South America and Portugal and has Portuguese, Norwegian and Argentine nationalities. He speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish and is learning French.
