Christian brings extensive experience in strategic communications, advocacy, and project management to our team at the European Environmental Bureau (EEB). Based in Brussels since 2017, he specializes in EU communications.

As a versatile communicator, Christian excels in strategy and message development, implementation, and content creation. His skills extend to applying evidence-based strategic communications in practice, in addition to training, fundraising, and networking.

After five years as Head of Press and Communications at the European Movement International, as well as several other communications roles in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Norway, Christian took over as Communications Lead at the EEB in 2023, aiming to drive meaningful change and make a lasting positive impact in the EU arena.

His portfolio includes leading, supporting, and developing the Listen to People project (2018-2023), Democracy Alive (2019-2023), Women of Europe Awards (2018-2022), Real Deal (2021-2023), Stronger Together (2022-2023), Together for Europe (2018-2023), The ViewPoints Magazine (2020-2022), Talking Europe (2018-2023), On Our Watch (2028-2019), Comms Hub (establishment, 2020-2022), and serveral pan-European campaigns, content, and more.
