Circular Economy Working Group

This year’s Circular Economy working group will be a hybrid event that will take place online and in-person at the EEB’s office in Brussels. In the sessions, we will review the recent policy developments related to the Circular Economy at EU level, discuss priorities for advocacy and campaigning messages, and identify cooperation opportunities between the EU and national/local levels. We will particularly discuss the new proposals on green claims and promoting repair, as well as the ongoing progress of key circular economy files such as the construction products regulation and energy performance of buildings directive, packaging and packaging waste regulation, and the ESPR. There will also be opportunities for members to provide updates on their activities and priorities, and discussions on communications strategies.
