‘Factory Farming: Unveiling the Hidden Costs’ highlights the adverse effects of factory farming on animals, human health and the environment. The exhibition will feature impactful images of animals within intensive farming facilities, environmental and social consequences of these farming model. The exhibition will be featured at the European Parliament from the 24th until the 27th of March, with the launch event happening on 25 March. The launch will feature short speeches by host MEPs within the exhibition space.
Captured by various photographers, each image of the exhibition tells a unique story, shedding light on the suffering of animals held by intensive farms and local communities and habitats situated near such facilities. The collection includes compelling images that highlight issues such as confinement, cruelty, and poor welfare conditions for animals, as well as the broader environmental damage, and resulting public health issues. Infographics complement these images, providing data-driven insights into the scale of the problem and the urgent need for a shift towards more humane and sustainable farming practices. Together, these pieces aim to raise awareness and inspire action toward a more ethical and environmentally friendly agricultural model.
