
The proliferation of non-substantiated green marketing claims confuses consumers about the real environmental performance of products and services that they buy. In this paper, the EEB presents its viewpoint on what the EU’s Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) can deliver and what not, including different reflections from discussions with experts from our NGO community working on sustainable consumption and production, circular economy and the role of environmental product policies.
