We wrote to to the European Parliament’s ENVI Committee ahead of a key vote to raise the ambition of the European Climate Law.
Besides the need to increase Europe’s short-term climate target to 65%, which we also highlighted in a separate letter, this letter provides voting recommendations to ensure all emissions are tackled at source. These include emissions from the agricultural sector, which is responsible for more than 10% of the total EU emissions.
