Open letter to the president of Ecuador: Appeal Chevron ruling
In solidarity with tens of thousands of people affected by the biggest environmental disaster in the Ecuadorian Amazon, more than 150 civil society organisations – representing more than 285 million people internationally – urge the government of Ecuador to appeal the arbitration award issued by a Dutch court in favour of the oil giant Chevron. The letter is co-signed by the EEB.
