National Recovery and Resilience Plans – EEB Position

Next to national budgets, the EU’s Multi-Annual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2021-2027 worth €1074 billion and ‘Next Generation EU are meant to bring the economy back on its feet after a troubling year marked by the Covid-19 pandemic. To gain access to the funds, Member States need to prepare and submit national recovery and resilience plans (NRRP) by 30 April 2021.

In this position paper, we outline our priorities to ensure the request for funds are in line with the European Commission’s climate and environmental objectives.
