Monitoring requirements in POP regulation and waste incineration

In a letter to the European Commission, we express our concerns about potential regulatory loopholes that could result in poor implementation of the Best Available Techniques (BAT) conclusions of the revised draft Best Available Techniques Reference Document on Waste Incineration (WI BREF) – hereafter WI BAT-C – if their current wording is not appropriately amended and clarified.
