BUND Germany sent a letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, urging her to prioritize the adoption of the PFAS restriction proposal at the EU level and to accelerate the regulatory actions needed to address these harmful chemicals. The letter highlights the urgency of protecting public health and the environment from the dangers posed by PFAS, and calls for swift and decisive action to implement effective restrictions under EU law.
