Letter to the Environment Ministers on the Battery Regulation

Since the publication of the European Commission’s proposal for a Battery Regulation in December 2020, the European Parliament and the Council have been preparing their respective reports on this important file.

The EBB alongside 22 member and partner organisations urged the Environment Ministers if EU Member States to recognise the need to regulate this rapidly growing sector, and put the EU at the forefront of sustainable innovation necessary for decarbonisation.
