Letter to Members of the Investment Committee of the Modernisation Fund

The European Environmental Bureau and its partners address the Members of the Investment Committee of the Modernisation Fund in a letter ahead of its meeting on the 26th October 2021, to express concern in regard to projects that do not align with the objectives of the European Green Deal, nor the EU’s commitment to the Paris Agreement.

The letter calls on the Members of the Investment Committee of the Modernisation Fund to ensure the share of renewable sources increases in the eligible Member States and improve energy savings rates to meet their environmental and climate targets.
