The EEB sent a letter to agricultural ministers of all EU member states ahead of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council meeting due to take place in Luxembourg on 11-12 October 2021.
The letter outlines the EEB’s views on the various environmental issues that ministers are due to discuss, and sets out the EEB’s demands, as a representative of over 170 environmental organisations from across Europe.
It focuses on the preparation of CAP strategic plans, the Communication on the New EU Forest Strategy for 2030, and the contribution of agriculture and forestry to Fit for 55.
