Joint NGO Position Paper on the Transposition of the European Crime Directive
This is a joint position paper in which a coalition of environmental, conservation, and animal protection organisations – BirdLife International, BornFree, WWF, The Eurogroup for Animals, IFAW, Stop Ecocide International, Humane World for Animals and the EEB – call on EU Member States to view the provisions set out in the Environmental Crime Directive as a baseline for their transposition process and make recommendations for where and how they might introduce more ambitious measures.
