On June 8th, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) can demonstrate with their vote in the revision of the Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), their willingness to accelerate our fossil fuels independence, improve clean air for citizens and commit to act against the worst climate offenders.

We, the undersigned organizations and networks, representing more than 80 million people in more than 30 European countries, call on MEPs to vote amendment 289 under the ETS revision introducing a 250g CO2eq/KWh GHG performance limit as from 2030 for the largest industrial activities, covered under the Industrial Emissions Directive.
