Joint letter on health and environmental ambition in the Industrial Emissions Directive trilogues
As the Industrial Emissions Directive and the Industrial Emissions Portal Regulation draw their final negotiations between EU institutions, civil society and progressive industry call for a more balanced outcome for protecting health and environmental ambition. Hazardous Waste Europe, EUREAU, European Environmental Bureau join forces to ask for the obligation to report PFAS (forever chemicals) levels, sharing information with civil society and ensure environmental quality standards.
