Input to informal video conference of EU Environment Ministers, 23 June
The EEB is writing to environment ministers ahead of their European Council meeting on on 23 June 2020. On behalf of over 160 green groups across Europe, we call on national governments to ensure the adoption of a truly Green Recovery fund which takes into account the need to build a more resilient economy and address the ongoing climate and environmental crises.
Environment ministers are expected to discuss a proposal for a green recovery and EU budget put forward by the European Commission in May.
