The Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive (UWWTD) entered into force in 1991 to protect human and environmental health by collecting and treating municipal wastewater. In occasion of the European Commission’s public consultation to collect civil society’s view on the revision, the EEB shares green groups’ priorities and invites citizens and organisations to speak up.
