EEB demands for the European Commission’s recommendations for the Member States’ final NECPs
In the light of Member States’ poor or absent inclusion of the public in designing their National Energy and Climate Plans, the EEB makes recommendations for the Commission to include in their assessments of these plans. While this will not affect the NECPs themselves, such assessments could still influence the implementation of the NECPs and the drafting of other related plans such as the Social Climate Plans, and define the standards for the next round of NECPs.
