EEB comments to CARACAL regarding REACH Authorisation and Restriction reform

The EEB welcomes the opportunity to provide comments and recommendations on the different options outlined in the CARACAL CA/03/2022 document in relation to the European Commission’s proposal to reform REACH Authorisation and Restriction processes.

We welcome a reform that will speed-up the elimination of hazardous chemicals and reduce releases and exposure of people and the environment.
