The EEB welcomes the updated proposal for extending REACH information requirements presented by the Joint Research Center (JRC) at the CARACAL 44 meeting. In the attached document, the EEB stresses that for a successful revision of REACH the new information requirements must fully match the criteria for classification in Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) for all chemicals, with the registration dossiers containibng all information required for hazard identification (classification, SVHC identification).
