EEB Assessment of the Romanian Presidency

This is an assessment of the Romanian Presidency of the European Union by the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), the largest federation of environmental citizens’ organisations in Europe,
prepared in cooperation with Seas At Risk.

Our mandate encompasses all environment-related issues, a broad agenda comprising ‘traditional’ environmental issues as well as sectoral and horizontal policies with a direct or potential environmental impact, sustainable development and participatory democracy.
