Intensive agricultural practices, including heavy pesticide use, are the main driver of the EU’s collapsing biodiversity. The EEB calls for a holistic shift to agroecological approaches and nature-based solutions that protect ecosystems and help climate mitigation and adaptation, while supporting healthy and sustainable farming.
