Certification of Carbon Removals: EEB Policy Recommendations

This position paper outlines the EEB’s policy recommendations on the EU’s Carbon Removals Certification framework. In the paper, we explore solutions and provide comprehensive policy recommendations for a well-functioning and trustworthy carbon removals certification framework that will provide benefits for climate, ecosystems, and local communities.
