Letter to EU Ambassadors ahead of the upcoming Coreper meeting on the Soil Monitoring Law
In the lead-up to Coreper discussions on the Soil Monitoring Law, seven NGOs urge EU Ambassadors to take a strong and decisive position in support of the law. The Council needs to act as a responsible co-legislator and seal the deal as a matter of urgency. Providing a supportive signal on this law and the provisional agreement reached in April will pave the way for the Council’s adoption of its first reading position, and subsequently for putting Europe’s soils on a pathway to recovery.
