EU chemicals policies have made considerable progress in protecting people and the environment from the risks posed by hazardous chemicals, as highlighted by the latest REACH review or the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS). This document outlines EEB’s proposals for streamlining and enhancing the EU’s chemical policies to ensure a more sustainable and toxic-free future, while boosting the EU’s long-term competitiveness.
