Why sufficiency cannot be overlooked in the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive
On February 9, the ITRE Committee is voting on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). The European Environmental Bureau, together with other NGOs and associations, outlines the reason why it is necessary that the committee vote on a text which includes sufficiency targets in the national renovation roadmaps, and to push for a more complete and coherent definition of the concept in the text.
