Athanasios (Thanos) works as Head of Finance and is a member of the Senior Management Team at the EEB.
He holds an Executive MBA and a Master’s degree in Applied Accounting and Auditing. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Before joining the EEB, he worked for more than 15 years in audit and accounting, including several years as a Partner at a leading Greek audit firm.
He has extensive experience in financial management, governance and EU-funded projects.
Originally from Greece and now based in Brussels, Thanos speaks Greek and English and is currently improving his French.
