Isabel is part of the Agriculture Team and works on the EU’s transition to a Sustainable Food System.
She holds a BA in Economic Development, International Cooperation and Conflict Management from the University of Florence and an MA in International and Diplomatic Affairs from Bologna University. After specialising on the history of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy, she expanded her focus on food while interning at the EU Delegation to the UN Organisations in Rome.
Before joining EEB she worked with Slow Food Europe and with German consultancy GFA, collaborating with the European Commission and focusing on sustainable agri-food systems in EU partner countries.
She speaks English, Italian and French.
