Response to consultation on taxonomy and climate change
The EEB has welcome a consultation launched by the European Commission on the development of the taxonomy system to finance the transition to a climate-neutral economy. Setting the right framework is crucial to redirect capital and boost sustainable economic activities.
In this document, we outline activities that the taxonomy system should not finance. These include – but are not limited to – nuclear power, fossil fuels and waste incineration.
