Following up on our letter dated May 26 2023, which was signed by 46 NGOs and business associations, the European Environmental Bureau reiterates their call to support the inclusion of electronics in the scope of an immediate ban on the destruction of unsold goods. This note compliments the letter by gathering further available evidence of the destruction of unsold electronics from across Europe, and highlights that there is sufficient evidence and a robust case to support a ban.
