Civil society manifesto: nature-inclusive, people-centred renewables
With this Manifesto, civil society across Europe proposes a comprehensive and forward-thinking approach to accelerate renewable energy development in harmony with our ecosystems and communities.
We, the 50 signatory organisations, present five priorities for decision-makers:
1. Make renewable energy an ally of biodiversity
2. Include citizens in decision-making
3. Prepare administrations to fast-track renewables
4. Foster community energy and profit-sharing
5. Make the transition resource-efficient
