To safeguard its independence and integrity, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) has implemented a comprehensive Due Diligence Policy for Donors to govern its engagement with all private and institutional funders.
This robust framework ensures that every partnership aligns with the EEB’s mission and values by enforcing strict exclusion criteria for industries such as fossil fuels, weapons, and hazardous chemicals. Committed to the highest standards of transparency and accountability, the EEB maintains its impartiality and reserves the unconditional right to publicly criticize any funder’s practices that harm the environment or undermine human rights. Through this policy, the EEB secures the diverse funding necessary to drive its long-term environmental strategies while remaining a truly independent and credible voice for the planet
