We are pleased to invite you to the AgriCaptureCO2 project’s final event which will take place on 9 November from 10:00 – 16:30 CET in person at Atelier 29, Rue Jacques de Lalaing 29, Brussels.
Farmers are on the frontline in the battle against climate change, requiring them to adapt to fast-changing weather patterns, whilst contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The AgriCaptureCO2 project aims to help farmers adopt regenerative practices, which can help improve resilience, boost profit margins and support farms in becoming part of the solution to the climate crisis.
During the project’s final event, you can expect to hear from a range of stakeholders including those involved in the project as well as external researchers, policymakers, and farmers. During the morning session, we will debate the difficulties and obstacles encountered by farmers, hear from researchers on the importance of tackling the climate and biodiversity crises in tandem, and debate climate policy in relation to EU agriculture.
There will be a lunch break where you’ll have the opportunity to speak with panellists.
In the afternoon, we will dig into how future EU and UK agricultural policies could be shaped to combat future and current challenges. The day’s event will end with a session in which panellists will discuss the role of technology in regenerative farming and agroecology, including remote sensing and modelling.
