The revision of the EU ETS Directives foresees for the most carbon-intensive installations the submission of Climate Neutrality Plans to make their activity climate neutral by 2050. Climate Neutrality Plans will be an instrument for industrial operators to organise the transition of their installations towards climate neutrality provided that the right information is contained, including sound milestones in line with the intermediate climate objectives of the EU and coherent with other depollution, circular economy and sustainable consumption of resources goals. The European Commission launched a public consultation of the contents of such plans, to which the EEB provided an answer.
