The EEB takes part in<\/strong> the European Youth in Action (EYA)<\/strong> project to empower young Europeans and amplify their voices on climate justice. By providing skills, knowledge, and platforms for action, the project enables youth to engage directly with decision-makers, influence EU policies, and contribute to a sustainable and fair future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

EYA \u2013 European Youth Driving Climate Justice<\/h4>\n

Key Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Youth Empowerment<\/strong>: Enhance young people’s skills and knowledge to actively engage in climate action, and to express their vision on the Europe they want<\/li>\n
  • Policy Influence:<\/strong> Facilitate the exchange of youth perspectives with EU policymakers on climate justice.<\/li>\n
  • Awareness Raising:<\/strong> Increase public awareness of EU values and climate justice issues, and increase the awareness of civil society organisations and European institutions of the vision of youth on climate justice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Energy Transition<\/strong>: Promote sustainable energy solutions and just energy policies.<\/li>\n
    • Greenwashing:<\/strong> Combat misleading environmental claims and promote transparency.<\/li>\n
    • Biodiversity:<\/strong> Protect biodiversity and ecosystem services for a sustainable planet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Project Activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Workshops:<\/strong> Equip young people with the tools and knowledge to become climate activists.<\/li>\n
      • Workcamps:<\/strong> Engage youth in hands-on environmental projects and community initiatives.<\/li>\n
      • Campaigns:<\/strong> Mobilize young people to advocate for climate justice through various campaigns.<\/li>\n
      • Youth Climate Meetings:<\/strong> Provide a platform for young people to discuss their ideas and develop policy recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        By involving thousands of young people across Europe, EYA is making a significant contribution to the global climate justice movement and the dissemination of EU values.<\/p>\n
