{"id":1770,"date":"2016-06-13T12:00:51","date_gmt":"2016-06-13T10:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eebtestsite.oldcontinent.eu\/?p=1770"},"modified":"2017-05-22T18:10:28","modified_gmt":"2017-05-22T16:10:28","slug":"mep-herbert-reul-must-get-with-the-times-on-new-eu-energy-labelling-rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eeb.org\/fr\/mep-herbert-reul-must-get-with-the-times-on-new-eu-energy-labelling-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"MEP Herbert Reul must get with the times on new EU energy labelling rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>European People\u2019s Party MEP Herbert Reul\u2019s claim that a swift revision of current energy efficiency labels for electronic products will be bad for business is baseless, counterproductive and obsolete, said the European Environmental Bureau today.<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Stephane Arditi, Coolproducts campaign co-ordinator<\/strong>, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cBy continuing to insist that a quick shift to genuinely effective energy labels may be detrimental to businesses, Mr Reul remains stubbornly blind to the obvious benefits these changes would bring.
