In this letter, the EEB provided input to the EU Environment Council Meeting, Brussels, 16 March 2023, addressing all Environment Ministers of EU Member States, the Commission President, Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal and Commissioners for Environment, Transport, Energy, Industry, Agriculture, Health and Food Safety, and the Chair of the European Parliament Environment Committee.<\/p>\n

The EEB\u2019s demands come structured according to our understanding of the 16 March Council Agenda, i.e., under the following headlines:<\/p>\n

  1. Revision of Directive 2010\/75\/EU on industrial emissions<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Review of the Directive on Packaging and Packaging Waste<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Carbon Removals Certification Framework<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Directive concerning urban wastewater treatment<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Greening the European Semester<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Directive on Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
