In this letter, the EEB provided input to the EU Environment Council Meeting, Brussels, 20 December 2022, addressing all Environment Ministers of EU Member States, the Commission President, Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal and Commissioners for Environment, Transport, Energy, Industry, Agriculture, Health and Food Safety, and the Chair of the European Parliament Environment Committee.<\/p>\n

The EEB\u2019s demands come structured according to our understanding of the 20 December Council Agenda, i.e., under the following headlines:<\/p>\n

  9. Revision of the Directive on Packaging and Packaging Waste<\/li>\n
