Hence, strengthening the methodology for the calculation of emissions mitigation\u00a0 within the Innovation Fund is crucial.<\/p>\n<p>The Innovation Fund aims to support \u201cinnovative\u201d or \u201cbreakthrough\u201d techniques, so it is expected that projects would go beyond \u2019state of the art\u2019 and the relevant EU ETS benchmark performances, pursuant to Article 11(1) of the delegated act.
