Brussels calling Antalya – European youth mobilising for climate

Background

The European Youth in Action project has engaged with hundreds of young activists and young climate leaders in the EU and beyond and has challenged them to provide inputs on policymaking. For the first time, we tried to make a link from the discussions around a bonfire at a volunteer field activity and the highest policymaking level in Europe and globally.

Ahead of COP31 in Antalya, we want to explore the realistic possible outcomes of the ongoing process to phase out fossil fuels globally and investigate the role of electrification in this process, as well as possible drawbacks it could entail.
